"I had Oakwood Furniture custom make a bookcase for me. The design included a full length mirror on one side with the opposite side holding four shelves. What made this item unique was the swivel base which enabled me to rotate it. Upon delivering to my home, I noticed that some of the metal on the base of the bookshelf was exposed when I angled it in a specific direction. Oakwood came up with a solution to the problem by molding a special piece of wood to camouflage the metal. They also added another layer of finish to the shelves so that they could be used on either side for the life of the furniture piece. I have purchased other furniture from Oakwood and will continue to patronize them because of their attention to detail and exceptional customer service."

"When my mother and step-father's house burned down in April of 2004, they lost so much. They went into Oakwood Furniture with their insurance money and purchased a whole house of furniture from the nice saleslady. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, including a bad architect, slow framers, and the fact that my sweet step-father passed away before the house was complete, the furniture sat in Oakwood Furniture's warehouse for over two years. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. All in all, we were very impressed with the whole company and definitely their quality products."
